Celebrity and such as PFLAG, etc..

Hi Folks!

My group is sailing again; sorry I have a new name as the

one I had last year will not work.

Whatever: a group of 4-6 plus is planning a Celebrity cruise out of Galveston this November to next Feb.

We are all "Parents of Gays and Lesbians" also brothers and sisters.

First: Is this a GBL friendly line?

Next: when we set the date we always and always arrange a few "get togethers" for "family".

Hey, seldom get a response but always meet up when we sail!

Besides if the cruise is dull, you have an outlet. A Haven.

Joe,

My partner and I have sailed exclusively on Celebrity and have never had a problem. We have always meet several "family" members and have always been treated with the same respect and courtesy that all celebrity passengers recieve. One cruise out of Fort Lauderdale ended up with 25 couples on it (all quite by accident) and the crew went out of thier way to be helpful. We have a wonderful picture of 50+ gay men on the grand staircase, decked out in our finest! A great cruise on a great cruise line.

What ship is your group on?

We will be on the Galaxy (? if I spelled that right)

Feb or March, one cruise each month, hopefully I will get our Lesbian Family

to come along, they are a bit well, who knows, whatever, I'll have a PFLG

button even t shirt so noboby will not know.

The last Spring's RCI cruise on the Key West, Cayman, Cozomel

run out of Texas was "dull" except for the Disco (I am to old) and

our mixed group (family and GBL) did the shore excursions. Crew very, very, friendly, to Gays, but say only 20 on ship (male). One party, my stateroon suite.

Had a Iraq war guy just back; he and his partner had a great time!

But I can not recommednd RCI unless anyone who wants mingle with other Gays inquires here or elsewhere to insure that the ship has others booked.

Not, repeat knocking RCI but those Texas cruise have a lot of yahoos!

Besides RCI has actually honored me for my social and civil rights work!
