Playa Portomari or Tugboat area for snorkeling?

Hi - Curacao stop coming up soon (first week of Jan) - probably going to snorkel or kayak... if we snorkel, which location is better (from those who know both)? Great reading reviews! Sounds like tugboat area might be a bit more wave-y, both have great fish viewing.

much better snorkeling at tugboat area. much better day at playa porto mari. you would probably just snorkel and then leave the tugboat area, but you could spend the day at playa porto mari where they have a food stand, hiking area ,decent, not great, snorkeling and amazing views.

We love the snorkeling at the Tugboat. Best we've seen on Curacao. The beach isn't bad either but Playa Porto Marie has better beach. Tugboat is closer to pier.
