What did you like about your Carnival cruise? I can't imagine not having a good time on a RCCL cruise but some think I'm biased. ;)

Agreed...

I can't imagine having a bad time on ANY cruise;)

My sis is 28... she and her BF just did an RC cruise after she was faithful to Carnival for 10 years... She liked the crowd better on RC than Carnival... said it felt more laid-back, not as much of a party atmosphere.. don't get me wrong... there's plenty o' partyin' on RC... but she is definitely converted to RC now!

I liked evrything about Carnival. Just wanted to try something different.

LOL...sorry I should have been more specific. Like do you like having access to food 24 hours (like the pizza on Carnival), then look for an RCCL ship that has "Sorrento's Pizza and Cafe Promenade". Not all RCCL ships have those. And the room service menus include hot items too.

Would you like ice skating and rock climbing walls? Then that would be Voyager and Freedom Class.

There are adult only solariums on the ships. Very nice!

Would you prefer freshwater pools over saltwater? Then look at a Freedom Class ship.

Dancing - all kinds of music for any taste

Casino - of course pretty much the same. Except on the newer ships they use a cashless system (the machines pay out receipts)

Shopping - kind of like a mini mall in the RCCL promenades

Service - top notch

Food - I've never gone hungry but I do give a slight edge to Carnival for this. But that is subjective

How RCI will compare to Carnival will depend to some degree on the particular ship you choose to sail on and the time that you sail. You will certainly find plenty of singles your age on most RCI ships and cruises and there are loads of activities that you can participate in, depending on your particular tastes and interests. You may find the decor to be more subtle than what you are accustomed to on Carnival, but you will find many more similarities on RCI than differences. Try it and other lines to be sure that you find the one that best suits your style and personality. I don't think you will be disappointed with your RCI cruise, but I can't guarantee that you won't decide that Carnival or some other line is a better fit for you. At least, however, you will have a real basis for your decision, whatever it might be.

Thanks for the info I am just so excited to be planning my next cruise.
