Anchor / Docking - Tortola and Virgin Gorda

This is only my best guess....

 

There is only one dock in Road Town and it holds only two cruise ships (one on each side). My guess is that "first two ships in" get the dock and others must anchor out. You can check cruisecal.com to see how many ships are scheduled on that day, but I don't know how you can tell which ones will have to anchor out.

Oceania's Regatta's Eastern Caribbean itineraries often include both Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Virgin Gorda is a tender port; the ship's tenders arrive at the Yacht Club in Spanish Town (what looks like a harbor on the map). At Tortola, the Regatta docks at the Cruise Ship dock at Wickhams Cay 1 in Road Town (south side of harbor).
