Halloween in N.O. - Boo!

Nothing spooky about Muriel's. It opened about four years ago and was pretty unpredictable at first. It has gotten to be an excellent restaurant over the past year or so.

They offer complete dinners (appetizer/soup, entree and dessert) for about $24, which is a great bargain for this kind of restaurant. The upstairs IS spooky. It is usually closed and is used for private parties, but ask your waiter if you can take a look.

The French Quarter is a real zoo on Halloween: lots of costumes.
