Country Inn & Suites Port Canaveral-check in time?

We will be arriving in Orlando at about 11 AM on 2/16, picking up our rental car, and driving to Port Canaveral. The published check in time for Country Inn and Suites in 4PM, what kind of luck have people had in checking in earlier? No big deal if we can’t, we’ll just kill time and maybe grab some lunch before we check in if it won’t work.

Also, how far is it to Grills from CI&S? Easy drive? We’d like to have a few drinks there while we watch the Saturday sailings leave.

Rooms should be available when you get here and they will let you in. Grills is an easy drive about 5 minutes away. Be there by 4:30 to see the sailings.
