OK, I tried this a few months ago with no results. Guess it was too far ahead of the trip, so lets try again. Who is going on the Barbados Southbound on Windsurf on March 23, 08 ? Where are you from? Are you staying on Barbados prior to departure? Any self tours planned? We have visited the Caribbean thirty times and have been to almost all of the countries there. This is our very first cruise, we took it because of the casual nature of the trip and the small number of folks on board. We also took it because it visits 3 places we have never been (Dominca, Bequia & Tobago) and three places we want to return to (Grenada, Mayreux & St.Lucia). We are staying at St. Lawrence Gap for a couple of days prior to the trip and at Ft. Lauderdale for one day. We are from New Bedford, Massachusetts are both retired.

Just discovered this forum and have been trolling it a bit to learn all we can about the Windsurf. This is our first cruise with the Windstar fleet and sailing on the Windsurf. We will be joining you on the Barbados SB leg on March 23, 2008. We are also doing the follow on NB segment on March 30th ending back in Barbados on April 6 (the last segment before its transatlantic crossing.) Seven days was just too short for us!

 

We are not staying on Barbados during our trip (we are a couple in our late forties) and will probably do an exciting excursion during our segment transition day. We are flying in from the DC metro area via Miami and will arrive about 1:30PM on the 23rd. We live in the Maryland countryside halfway between DC and Annapolis. I have visited Dominca, Bequia & Tobago before and they are wonderful! I love the Grenadines and can't wait to drink in all that tropical island beauty again and have the wind in my face as we sail through paradise. We will be staying in cabin 269 (Deck 2 forward). See you aboard!

We will be on Wind Surf March 16 and March 23. There are four of us. My husband and me and two other lady friends.

Hi to Carol, Tom and Dave. Just discovered this thread. Couldn't find any and just gave up until yesterday. Still haven't found anything for week of 16th. We are doing B2B on the 16th and 23rd. Staying in Barbados only the previous night. This will be our 23rd and 24th cruises, but first on Windstar. We are retired couple from Reading, PA. Love to cruise. Just read the wonderful review of Windsurf by Englishtraveller. Really looking forward to this trip. DW is a little apprehensive about not having a balcony, but we are glad to hear that stateroom is "roomy." We are doing the train in St. Kitts and the 4x4 River Rock adventure in St. Lucia the first week. We are doing the Rain Forrest Aerial Tram in Dominica and snorkeling in Tobago. Other than that, we are just going on our own. Hope to hear from you all.
