CruiserJM Posted January 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Hello everyone! My family and I are booked on the March 9th sailing of the Explorer of the Seas out of Cape Liberty. We have read many posts regarding hotel preferences and seem to have that part of the planning settled away. One outstanding question we have is regarding the parking at the port. It would seem that there is a long line of cars waiting to "drop off" passengers (as we hve read in many posts). We are planning on parking at the port and were curious if the protocol is to wait in that long line for drop off to unload luggage and then move along to the parking lot or do you go directly to the parking lot and then walk/bus back to the check in point. Obviously we are hoping to avoid the drop off line but are unsure of the logistics at Cape Liberty. Any assistance would be much appreciated. willysgrandma Posted January 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2008 If you don't arrive too early, you won't find a long line. I arrived at 12:30 - there was absolutely no line. I pulled right up to the area with the porters, dropped my luggage, and then parked the car. Took five minutes.
