Hot Wire/Tampa/Intercontinental

I just used Hot Wire for my upcoming stay at the Intercontinental in Tampa. I got 1/25 for $119. The best part was that it was easy to determine which hotel I was getting based on the price when they listed the savings.

 

How far is this hotel from the cruise terminal?

 

I did notice that the staff at the hotel was less than friendly when I called with questions as soon as they looked up my reservation. I used the 800 # to ask for bed type and smoking preference and they were fine, but the woman on the phone at the hotel put me on hold three times and was short with her answers.

 

They only run the shuttle until 1 am and my flight gets in at 12:50. I am going to call them as soon as we land, but have a feeling I'll be paying for my own taxi.

 

Oh well, I think I got a great deal anyway.

The hotel sent me an email which said the hotel is 7 miles from The Port of Tampa. The shuttle runs to the Tampa International Airport and a radius of 3 miles. They referred me to the hotel concierge for assistance with transportation. concierge@intercontampa.com or 813-286-4178.
