3 Island Snorkel Tour

We did the 3 island tour with Captain Alan last week. We first went to Tintamarre. It took aboput half an hour to get there.The snorkeling was poor beause of swells that were moving in, but the mud baths were fun- rejuvinating but I still look like an old dog ;).We spent about an hour between snorkeling and mud treatments. A quick ride over to Pinel for another 45 minutes of snorkeling- visibility was better here. Then off to Green Key. This spot off Orient had the best snorkeling of the day. The open cooler on the boat had water, soft drinks and local beer. The snack was large packs of crackers. I'd suggest having a good breakfast before going on this excursion. Captain Alan was great. He got into the water at each stop and led the crowd to the best spots for snorkeling. Well worth the money

The excursion is from 8:30- 12:30, we had a good breakfast, brought along our own snacks, and had a big lunch back on the ship

Captain Alan and Colleen were wonderful. We had a great time in March. We had the kids with us (7 and 13), who also had a great time and they were great with the kids. We would use them again if we want to snorkel in St. Maarten. It was a great day, with wonderful spots to snorkel. Our DD(7) was tired by the 3rd stop and didn't want to go in the water. No problem I stayed behind on the boat b/c she didn't want to stay with just Colleen. Well she decided she wanted to get in the water and swim, so Colleen tired a rope to the back of the boat and put DD in a life vest and snorket gear told her to use the rope to stay near the boat and off she went swimming around right there. Happy little girl. They are great people who love what they do. Go and have a wonderful time. Well worth the time and money.
