smeyer418 Posted January 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2008 We will be driving into New York City from NJ for a HAL cruise. Does anyone know the pier number and/or location that HAL sails from? It sails from the Manhattan cruise terminal. The motor entrace to all three of the piers that form this is at 55th street and 12th avenue. The piers that are part of the complex are piers 88, 90 and 92. You probably will leave from pier 90 but it can change from cruise to cruise but all part of the same complex(like an airport terminal 1 with many gates)
rzdj96 Posted January 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Last year we parked at the pier. Costs were $24 a day or $178 a month. Does anyone know if this has changed or not? Some sights are extremely outdated and still post that only cash or travelers checks being accepted, whereas we paid by credit card. Thanks in advance for any recent info. rzdj96 Posted January 23, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Sorry folks but I just found the information requested. Here's the WEB sight. www.nycruise.com/parkNYC.html It looks like $180 (10 day cruise) and they do take certain plastic.
trish1c Posted January 23, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2008 What I learned driving to the pier 2 weeks ago -- if you take the Lincoln Tunnel go north to 55th on any street other than the west side highway. It took almost 45 minutes just to make the turn.
smeyer418 Posted January 23, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2008 the best way from coming from the south is to stay on 11th or 10th avenue going north to 59th street and make a left and then a left after passing under the highway ....much much faster
