booking question

I have been on 2 Carnival Cruises and have always booked directly thru Carnival. I am cruising on Glory in April and the rate Carnival gave me is $200 more than the rate I'm getting from a travel agent (including all the hidden little fees) Will Carnival match this price? and is there any disadvantage of booking thru an agent instead of directly thru Carnival?

There isn't any disadvantage to booking with a competent TA. A bad TA can make your vacation a chore.

Carnival may match the offer your TA is giving but won't if it is a group rate etc. Since you are still outside the penalty phase you can cancel your current booking and rebook with the TA if Carnival won't offer you what you think is fair.
