Noise on Deck 6(Upper)????

Do a search of your room number (or those close by) - there are a number of posts that people that have posted specific comments about room.

I can't say from experience, but we are booked in a blacony in this ares on the Liberty and were just a bit concerned, but most posts that I found said that at worst it was bass (although there is an inside right above the teeen club that seemed to be one to avoid. The other places that come up to avoid were around the stairwells which makes some sense because there's nothing to stop the sound from flowing up.

My cabin on the Upper deck on the Conquest, 6319, would have been perfectly quiet has it not been for my neighbors who seem to be enthralled with bashing furniture (and apparently each other...) around until 4 AM every night...

The Upper deck is a great location. You pretty much don't hear any noise from below and with cabins above it works out great.

Yes we had a cabin on Deck 6 above the casino on the Liberty for our first Liberty sailing. I did not realize that we were just above the casino. Yes we heard casino noise, on the first night, we complained and they actually turned the ringers down on he bank of Slot machines under our room, after 10:00 pm each night and gave us ear plugs.

Sorry - not sure what happened. Try www.seauonboard.com

A good collection of information, it should be a pre-req to anyone that starts a post with "I know this has been asked before..".

And you are right, the room page is really long, you might want to split the room list out, its very useful but folks might miss it if they give reading all the info on room types....

You have an 8A booked... a balcony cabin, starboard side. You really won't be above the casino, you'll be above the King Boulevard. There may well be a difference if the cabin was an inside and directly above the casino.

I never heard a sound from below.

:( We we`re above the stage in a 4c on the Freedom in december and could hear the shows at night and the daytime rehearsals. Earplugs do shut out the noise but found it hard to sleep with something stuck in your ear. We brought our own plugs but they were a nuisance if you turn on your side like me. Late diners probably won`t mind though. I hope that helped you  B & J
