Formal dinners

I was wondering how many formal nights I should pack for and how dressy are the rest of evening dinners? My daughter is anxious to really dress up for all the meals but my 11 year old son is not!

There is one formal night, and one semi-formal on a 7 night.

How about the rest of the nights, how dressy should we dress?

The rest of the nights are casual dress One night will be pirate attire.

 

casual means no shorts or tank tops. recommended collared shirts and dockers or khakis for men and boys, women, slacks or skirt with nice top or a dress or pant suit.

what most would refer to as church clothes.

 

sundresses or princess dresses for girls too.

 

you will see jeans too although most feel that is not proper.

 

If your son doesnt want to dress up he can always eat with the kids club that night if you want. Or have room service just before dinner time, then leave him at the clubs while you go to dinner.

thanks! He doesn't want to but he will....He is just kind of lazy for things like that and doesn't see the point but will generally comply just because it is easier then saying.
