What is Power Snorkeling?

Do you like it better than regular snorkeling?

Know of any operators who offer it in Cozumel or Cayman (without going through the ship?)

Isn't someone going to answer this one???...I am just sitting here since yesterday wondering what is this?....did a search on google but found very little?....Enquiring minds want to know....!!!

When we onboard the Caribbean Princess this past July, one of the passengers brought along a seascooter unit. He bought it from QVC. My DH & I tried it out at Princess Cays. I had a hard time controlling the machine, it was too powerful for me. I know I wouldn't like to snorkel with it.

As a one time novelty, it might be fun as long as it's not interfering with others. I found these comments as probably appropriate:

It's a small high rpm motor with a gear reduction system ... it sounds like a cross between a Waring blender and a cheap electric razor.
