burm Posted February 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Can anyone tell me if I can have food from Sabbatini's, the alternative restaurant, delivered to my room? I don't want all the courses but perhaps a pasta dish.
can786 Posted February 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Unless you are in a full suite you cannot order from any of the dining room menus. Those in minisuites and below must stick with the rather limited room service menu. Quite honestly I'm not sure if even full suites can order from Sabatinis either, though when on the Sea Princess last year (we were in a full suite) I was able to order from the pizza restaurant. whale-watcher Posted February 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2008 This was not an option for us on the Coral last year (in a full suite). You can order anything off the dining room menu, however, including lobster.
Toto2Kansas Posted February 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2008 No, you can not order from Sabatinis to be delievered. Unless maybe you pay the extra fee for Sabatinis and tip a waiter very well for the delivery, but even that is iffy.
B40 Tha Cruisa Posted February 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2008 I cant see this being an option. I have never seen or heard of it happening though. If you do have the full suite, take advantage of it and get some stuff from the dining room delivered.

Casshew Posted February 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2008 The pasta at the buffet is pretty good, they have one pasta (shells, bowties, spaghetti, fettucini, penne) and then 2 sauces to choose from - we lived on stuff for 12 days LOL So if you have a craving for a quick bowl of pasta, just head up there and bring it back to your cabin. :)
burm Posted February 17, 2008 Author #9 Share Posted February 17, 2008 It is seafood pasta that I love, crab, lobster, etc. I am told that Sabbatini's makes a wonderful one, but I don't want all the other courses that I am told that the waiter's are quite insistent on your trying. Casshew Posted February 17, 2008 #10 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Yeah, I think you have to allow 3 hours for a meal there.
monalloh Posted February 17, 2008 #11 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Part of the fun of Sabatini's is the service as they serve you all the courses of appetizers to taste, and the meal really is a progression of plates right through dessert. It is an experience! We just dined there on Sapphire Princess and the 2 1/2 hour meal was the most memorable of the 12 day cruise. Go for it!
