getawayguy Posted February 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2008 I've seen the books about the individual ships pop up for sale on Ebay and such and was wondering for those who have/ seen them if they are worth picking up. Is it a good book of the ship? Or is it just a bunch of ads. I'm thinking of tracking one down for the Splendor when she launches. I'm surprised Carnival doesn't have these books for sale on their site. I would think many would find it a neat keepsake for the cruises they have been on. SaltyBunni Posted February 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2008 You mean the books on the coffee tables in the cabin? They are nice, and you can buy them right onboard. And I agree, it would be nice to purchase those books on the website!
getawayguy Posted February 17, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted February 17, 2008 yup, from what I have found on the forums, they are books on the tables in the individual cabins. Good news you can actually purchase them. Anyone have one that they can share what quality they are?
sea_u_onboard Posted February 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Never bought one - the steward always gives us one for the asking. If you ask they will give you a new one and not the one that everyone has pawed through. Mainly ads.
Flip2cruise Posted February 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2008 I plan to get a couple in July :)
Minn.cruisers Posted February 18, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Not quite the same question, but maybe someone can answer this for me. Are the scrapbooks/papers. etc. available that they had at the photo gallery? I got one, but would like to get another one.
