Hardcover Ship Books for Sale? Splendor Related

I've seen the books about the individual ships pop up for sale on Ebay and such and was wondering for those who have/ seen them if they are worth picking up. Is it a good book of the ship? Or is it just a bunch of ads. I'm thinking of tracking one down for the Splendor when she launches.

 

I'm surprised Carnival doesn't have these books for sale on their site. I would think many would find it a neat keepsake for the cruises they have been on.

You mean the books on the coffee tables in the cabin?

 

They are nice, and you can buy them right onboard.

 

And I agree, it would be nice to purchase those books on the website!

yup, from what I have found on the forums, they are books on the tables in the individual cabins. Good news you can actually purchase them.

 

Anyone have one that they can share what quality they are?

Never bought one - the steward always gives us one for the asking. If you ask they will give you a new one and not the one that everyone has pawed through. Mainly ads.

Not quite the same question, but maybe someone can answer this for me. Are the scrapbooks/papers. etc. available that they had at the photo gallery? I got one, but would like to get another one.
