conquest rooms

I'm assigned cabin 6446 on the Conquest, which is next door to 6448. It's on upper deck 6 which is a good deck to be on. Once, we were on deck 2 and hated it.:( We had to always wait on the elevators, which were slow, because it was just too much work to climb all of those stairs. I didn't like being down so low because you weren't close to anything. But I have been on level 6 before on several ships and I loved it. You can take the stairs very easily to anywhere you want. On the Conquest below you on deck 5 is the aft lounge, the casino, and the main lounge, and a sports bar. The casino is not directly below you on deck 5, it's at the other end of the ship so you won't hear noise from it, but it is very close to get to from your room, just one floor down. And just up a couple flights of stairs is the Lido restaurant, the Grand Buffet, the pizzeria, and the pool.

The only negative about this location is that it's at the very tail end of the ship. I've been on deck 6, I've just never been this far back at the tail end of the ship before. So I posted a new thread in the "Cabin Selection Tips" section here on the boards. I asked if we would feel lots more movement on the ship because we had a cabin so far back at the very end of the ship. I got several replies and the general consensus was "no." People seem to feel more movement in the front of the ship, not the back. I was glad to hear that, because I really like being on upper deck 6, it's a good level to be on. And since several CCers have reassured me that we won't feel lots of extra motion at the rear of the ship, I'm very pleased with our location, and I'm sure you will too.:D

I'm not exactly sure where the laundry room is, but the elevators and stairs are close to your room. If you want more info. on your room location and how close it is to everything else, just go to Carnivals website. You can view the Conquest floor by floor there and even print each deck and keep a copy of it for your cruise. I hope this helps and I think your room is a good one!:)

The laundry room on the upper deck is on the right side (facing front) - inside. Can't remember exactly - but we were in 6335 and it was farther towards the back - but not way back. It was very convenient. Sorry I can't be more exact. I had it written down somewhere - but can't find it.
