Web Cams

I have been watching the Liberty Web Cam for a while now on the aft web cam and it generally looks pretty deserted. You can see a fair amount of the Lido Pool area. I am puzzled. Is it just the camera angle?

It's partly due to the scale of the camera...small. But not seeing a crowd has more to do with the day of the week. The only days the lido area should look crowded are sea days. When the Glory is in port the ship is empty.

that is why I was puzzled. from the bow cam you can see they are at sea but from the aft cam you see very few people. One or two at the rail occassionally and you can often see the big screen going but it seems "no ones home!"

It's also nearly 6:00 pm on the ship.

 

The Lido pool area will be the most crowded between 11:00 and 2:00 ship time on sea days.

That's really the main thing....you just have to think about what time it is when you check the aft camera. If its 1:00 pm on a day at sea...you will see lots of people out by the pool...but if its 6:00 pm...everyone is eating, or getting ready to eat etc. Or if its 1:00 pm on a day they are in port somewhere...then again...the pool area will be very empty!
