Valor, what should we do?

We have a choice of staying on the 8th floor balcony room or being on the 6th floor guaranteed room with $100 off with the chance of an upgrade. What is better?

I would take my chances with a guarantee... but if having a balcony is really important to you, you should go for that.

I am on the 8th floor on the Valor this November. I chose an 8A and got upgraded to an 8C. There is no way I would take a chance of losing a balcony cabin. $100 isn't that much money to take the chance, ya know? I'd just stick with what you have and be thrilled!!!!:D

it's a balcony either way..just a difference of having a room number or not really.

I personally love the gamble of the guarantee.

 

We just booked a BL guarantee and got upgraded to a 9A. Couldn't have done that with an assignment.

Go with your gut! But in the long run $100.00 is not very much to worry about, I say get the room you want!!

I'm sorry! I misunderstood what you were saying...thought it was a cat. 6 cabin! In that case, take the money and take your chances! A balcony is a balcony and 100 bucks is 15 drinks!:D

I also thought you were choosing between a Cat 6a or Cat 8a. yes - go for the guarantee. You'll get a balcony, and odds are good that you'll get upgraded. If you have your heart set on a particular cabin you should go for that, but otherwise, why not see ifyou can get something even better for less money? :)

GUARANTEE!!!!! if you are picky picky, then take a cabin, but you wouldnt even bring this up im sure if you didnt really so much care ;) take the money down where you can!!!
