kimidz Posted September 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2004 Do you think we can be back from the Road to Hana by 5pm? The Serenade gets into port at 7am-- if we can get one of the first tenders- and hope to get our Thrifty rental car quickly?? We don't plan on stoping a lot. We are really just seeing the sights- not taking a ton of pictures. We were thinking of doing the full circle, rather than turning around and seeing the same sites again. We have a 4 wheel jeep reserved. We have the Old Lahaina Luau at 5:30. I know this is a very long tiring day-- but we have limited time, we would like to see as much as we can. bug_dan Posted September 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2004 If you get an early start and don't make too many stops, it should be possible. Last year we went clockwise, left for the rental company around 10 am and were back in Lahaina about 4:30 pm, with only a lunch stop in Hana. Since we overnighted in Hana, we parked the car behind the Burger King. If you leave earlier, might be better to go counter-clockwise as there would be less traffic?????? DAVEM331 Posted October 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2004 We just did the exact thing two weeks ago - we actually stoped for breakfast in paia and started at 09:30 on the road to Hanna - stopped at most of the suggested stops - we skipped by some of the waterfalls - looked like not much rain had been failing recently and they were not that great. We did go all the way around the island - we brought a change of clothes with us and got to the LUAU at 6:00pm.
