Recommended Posts

This is our first holiday away from our family's at Christmas. We are cruising with our twin daughters aged 10. Our girls want to know if there is a much for them to do on the ship.

also how much room is there in the 4 birth outside cabins, and can our kids eat in the restaurant with us.

Any other information about kids activities would be much appreciated.

Your girls will love it. The cabins are roomy enough (not huge ) but honestly you won't spend much time in it.

I haven't cruised with my kids, but I saw plenty of happy kids, infact I don't remember seeing an unhappy kids. The childrens centre's are excellent from what I heard onboard. A number of ppl said the barely saw their kids.

And yes, they can definately eat in the restaurant with you, go the shows with you, even the Nightclub (up to 10.30, i think), but the kids centre is open til 10.30. They have numerous activities onboard, even a Popstar (karaoke) competition for the kids. If you want some adult time they have group babysitting from 10.30pm til 1am for only $5 p/hr

I am just hanging out for the new season catalogue to come out, so I can find a cruise for late next year to take my kids on.

Have Fun - What a way to spend Xmas!!

I dont think you will have to worry about your girls on this ship as all the kids we seen were having a ball and security was A++ we spoke to some parents and they were more than happy the way the kids were enjoying themselves and the after hours babysitting gave them the chance to have some time together and enjoy some shows or the casino, just think being xmas you wont have to worry about where your spending xmas day and who is cooking ENJOY

Don't worry about your girls, they can eat with you and you can ask for a childrens menu as well. I've taken my boys on several cruises, the last one being last christmas and they've always had a ball. Not being a night owl it didn't worry me that they wern't really catered for (enterainment) after 10ish as we did lots during the day and fell into bed early anyway. The outside cabins are adequate and the room attendants always tidied up:) . I think because I there were children in our cabin we were looked after with lovely towel animals each day, everyone else on our dinner table were green with envy
