I've read the other posts about this tour. I just looked into trying to rent a car instead through Avis- but it says they are sold out (our cruise is in September)

 

I read in the one review that if you have less than 4 people you are paired up with others- is this always true? I'm worried about this as I get carsick in the backseat.

 

Are there any other car rental places in Skagway?

Most expensive car rental in Skagway! Try Sourdough? and yes they do double you up.

Stacym meant that the Jeep tour is the most expensive car rental in Skagway, and they do fill the Jeeps. Sourdough is the other car rental company in town - http://www.geocities.com/sourdoughcarrentals/

I wanted to thank you both for your help a few months ago-

Avis wasn't sold out- they just had not released the booking info through September. We managed to book a car a few days ago and will be driving up to Emerald Lake.
