Taxi to and from Meagans Bay

The tours to Megans Bay are booked, so we are stuck try to get a taxi. Does anyone know how much a taxi would cost and if it is possible to get one back to the boat? Thanks

It's $8.00 per person each way, plus $4.00 per person to enter the beach! Try and find an open air taxi, it's much nicer!

No problem getting a return from Magens to the dock. Taxis are always there or you can request the driver return for you, get his card and call on your cell if it works (AT&T) or just set a time and pick up spot. The taxi drivers are very responsible in the VI.

Hi there. Can you tell me how long it took to get to Magen's bay via Taxi from the cruise ship? And is it worth it to go? I have four 18 year olds (2 boys 2 girls) that can not make up their minds what they want to do and said they just want to "lay on the beach" in one port. Thought this would be a good one.

you are proably better off as you can spend as much or as little time at megan's based upon how much you are enjoying yourself and not be subject to the time that the tour allows.

Megan's Bay would be a perfect beach to spend the day just lying around....and if they get the urge to do something there are kayaks and paddleboats to rent (at least there were a few years ago).
