San Juan-Sunday 3pm-midnight

Ok, Sunday 3-12mn is not too bad. There is stuff to do.

You have time to visit the Forts and maybe some of the shops along Calle Cristo /Fortaleza and/or San Francisco. Forts close at 6p until June, 5pm after that. Stores close at 5pm on Sundays.

On Sundays, there is a lot of craft and artisan vendors around OSJ, especially around Paseo de la Princesa.

Go on the Segway tour, or a horse and carriage ride, just walk around town. I have a "walking tour" on my blog.

There is a "Night Tales" walking tour with Debbie. A bit of a fast walk, but very interesting.

You can go on the "Rumba" boat- it is about 1.5 hrs- they have a tour on the 5:30 pm trip (great views!) and then it turns into a floating nightclub with dancing at 7:30 and 9:30p.

There is a Flamenco show at El Botin restaurant at 8pm. On Recinto Sur, next to Hard Rock Cafe.

Always bars and clubs open, Señor Frogs is always "happening" for the younger crowd.

Check out my blog for ideas of stuff to do in Old San Juan:

Have fun!

I'll second the "Night Tales" tour. We took it in February and it was one of the highpoints of our cruise. If you're interested in history and culture, Debbie brings it all together.

Check out El Morro fort, great views and you will more than likley see lots of people flying kites in front of the park - it's a great sight.

Then just head back into OSJ and wander around. As the city is not that big, it's easy to just wander around and see the sights.

Definitely check out the area around the Paseo La Princesa - it's a nice walk along the promenade and there will be plenty of things going on there.

The othere posters have covered the rest :o)

Have a blast Coqui @ http://www.visit-the-coqui.com

We were in San Juan last week on a Monday from 3 -10 pm and had an EXCELLENT time. We started off with a Segway Tour of Old San Juan with Jose Cortes at segwaytourspr.com - talk about fun! There were five in our group, and Jose and his wife made sure we were comfortable on the machines before setting out to explore. He's a friendly, knowledgable guide; very professional. Highly recommend this tour! Afterwards, we poked around a few shops, listened to music and political debate in one of the parks (in English, no less!), had great appetizers/drinks in a little restaraunt, and strolled back to the ship. Wish we could have had a whole day in San Juan.

Have a great time!
