Tampa return flight

Hi all - going on Carnival Legend New Years Cruise, 12/28-1/04/09. Flying in from NJ on the 27th and staying over. On the Jan 28, can return at 11:20 am or 1:15 pm. Would like to book the 11:20 if it is feasable. I figure if we are off the ship by 8:30 this should be realistic. Anyone done this? Thanks for the help. Bob from NJ.

a 11:20 flight is definetly doable, you might want to do self debark off the ship and use blue one transportation group in tampa excellent, we used the in october, excellent service. carnival transfers are a pain and kind of costly.

11:20 should be OK. Be sure to self debark and get a cab to the airport. Only problem could be if the ship is late, or they have a problem with customs. We had a 11:15 flight in Miami last year and all went well.:cool:

Thanks for the replies. I heard Carnival will check your bags to the airport for you - Will probably do that. I guessing there are plenty of cabs available.
