Food on MSC

I loved, loved, loved the food on MSC, but I travelled on the Monterrey (no longer in service) out of Genoa.

With MSC keep in mind that the food is very authentic Italian, with loads of interesting regional dishes. Do not expect to find Italo-American style foods, drowning in too much sauce, or tasting straight out of Olive Garden.

Do expect to find menues that you would find in Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany, the Abruzzi, the Marche, Sicily, etc. This is especially true of Mediterranean trips, which cater heavily to a European clientele.

If you are looking for a European experience, that is authentic, it is the right line for you.
