My wife and I did this excursion when we were on the Legend last September. We actually did the encounter and Tabyana Beach combo. It was a bit pricey, but we had a blast, and for us, it was well worth the money. I think that the tour we did was five hours long, but I believe you could just do the encounter for a couple of hours or so. Anthony's Key Resort is absolutely beautiful. Everyone was extremely accomodating, and the trainers were very knowledgable. We were probably in the water with the dolphins for about an hour. This tour is an encounter, not a swim. We were only in waist deep water, but you are able to interact with the dolphins for most of the time. If you are able, I would highly suggest doing the combo tour with the beach time. Tabyana Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, and if you like to snorkel, there is a man-made reef that runs along one section of the beach, and in my opinion, would satisfy both beginner and the seasoned alike.

Uhm, the reef at/around Tabyana is definitely NOT man-made.
