Rental car daily price: $100 for mid size, too expensive?

Hi,

 

I read several posts where rental car is really cheap. Would $300 for 4 days in ANC, and $100 one day in Skyaway consider a fair price? These are already Costco discounted.

 

Does anyone have a coupon code?

Someone recently said that they were told by AVIS that they would not accept coupons in Skagway because of the high demand and lack of enough rental cars.

 

We have a large car rented in Skagway and the total price is $110.00 for one day. We have another large car rented in Juneau and the total is $58.00 for one day.

I was able to get a small suv for less that 500 for 10 days, including

taxes. You just need to search and try different codes and coupons.
