Has anyone been to Porto Marie recently? If so how much was the cab fare for two?

Went to Playa Porti Mari last month. The cost for 2 by cab was $40 each way, $80 round trip. :eek: We tried to find others off the ship that wanted to go there, but were unable to. It is a nice beach, but would not recommend it for the price of $80 cab fare.

I had heard the cab fare for two was high. I am trying to decide between Porto Marie and the Dive Bus. I'm a diver and my DH is not so I wanted a nice beach for him while I did a shore dive or two. I appreciate your post.
