PV Water and Ice

I am here to give a little info on the water and ice in Puerto Vallarta. Vallarta has been certified for almost nine years as having drinkable water. The companies Seapal and BiWater are exceptional. With that said, most everyone drinks bottled water which is available everywhere and inexpensive. We even have Evian water! But I like Ciel (from Coca Cola/ would be like Aquafina) and Bonafont best. We have Voss water too for those that like "Luxury water" :)

We have Snapple, V8Splash, Coke products and Pepsi products, Arizona Tea's and tons of other drinks.

The ice you find on all tours and in bars, restaurants is ice from the local purification plant and is 100% safe ice. It is cheaper for all of these places to have ice delivered a few times a day (Bajo Cero and Crystal ice and others) than to even think of producing ice themselves.

So, if you are thirsty, don't worry! Drink!

Most people if they get sick is from too much sun, too much alcohol, and not washing their hands enough...not from the water or the ice.

Enjoy!
