Sportfishing in Mazatlan and Cabo

We are cruising on Carnival Pride 8/17 - 8/24/08. My husband and son want to do a sportfishing excursion in Mazatlan or Cabo. The Carnival information doesn't say how much it is.

 

Does anyone know if this can be booked directly thru the sportfishing people, or does it have to be thru the cruise?

The sports fishing in Cabo is some of the best my husband and I have ever done. The marlin fishing is awesome. We booked directly with the fishing people themselves and chartered a private boat for the day. There were 4 of us and 1 captain and 1 deck hand. It's great. At the docks in Cabo - there are numerous places to book something. Also look online - just google "sports fishing in Cabo San Lucas" and several options/prices will come up.

We are very interested in the sport fishing also. NCL 9-27-08. Anyone with info it is greatly appreciated.
