I used to live out there, but we would always take a shuttle. Why not try Primtime Shuttle or Super Shuttle. You may even be able to price this on their websites. Which terminal will you be sailing out of?

We just cruised in May and used Super Shuttle. We arranged a towncar and were very impressed. It was $85 for 4 of us including the tip.

On the way back, we caught an ordinary taxi from the port to LAX and it was something like $51 without a tip.

We really didn't have to wait for either one at all. The towncar was nice because we got in very late and it was seamless to get us to our hotel in San Pedro which had a free shuttle to the ship.

Thanks for the info. I am interested in which hotel you used in San Pedro that had a free shuttle to the ship, we have decided to go down a day early. Was San Pedro a safe place to walk around? I was trying to find a hotel that offered free shuttle from airport and to pier
