cruisinqt Posted October 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2004 Do any of the cruise lines offer discounts for teachers? I have a newly single teacher friend that wants to go on a cruise, but the prices so far has been outrageous. Part of the problem has been the times she can go because she's got to go when schools out. The other part of the problem is that she is single and single prices are pretty high too. I told her a group cruise might be good, especially if she could find a roommate, which is a possibility she's working on right now. Does anyone know of any cruise lines that offer discounts for teachers? I know many of them offer discounts for military and gov't employees, but what about teachers?
Smooth Sailing Posted October 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2004 I'm sorry, but have never heard of any cruise line offering a discount for teachers - I've never heard of a discount for government employees - I never got one.
Fblack Posted October 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2004 Holland America does on selected cruises in the summer. They gave me a great quote a few months ago when they learned my wife is a teacher.
