tours for Pacific Islands and New Zealand

I will be on HAL, LA to Auckland, Sept 2008. Stopping at various Pacific Islands and NZ.

I will to arrange my own excursions and not with the cruise line. Can anyone recommend companies or independent tours for NZ ports of Napier, wellington, Bay of Islands and Tauranga.

Can help a bit here. Napier,NZ (Absolute de Tours) and in Tauranga Mt Classics Tours will take you to the thermal plateau of Rotorua. Take the tram car in Wellington to the top of the botanical gardens and walk down the hill. In the Bay of Islands you might like to try some NZ mussels and local beer at Paihia. The restaurant there is called Latitude 23. Enjoy your cruise.
