Aft cabin for Westbound North Atlantic TA?

Has anyone been on a CC Aft cabin on a Westbound North Altantic TA? Was there much movement? We have a midship starboard side CC cabin and our friends have an aft CC cabin. They are concerned about movement at the back of the ship if seas get rough. If anyone can give them advice it would be much appreciated. (We love those aft cabins and encouraged them to book it, it's their first cruise) Now, other friends have been telling them they are no good for TA crossings. Please help!

We were on the Constellation in September 07. We had three rough days on it but the movement in 7208 aft was not that bad. We felt it, but it did not bother us that much. The beds are on a horizonital othe back of the ship. Balcony cabins are parallel to the side of the ship and there is sideway movement in rough weather. The weather on our cruise was the result of the remains of a tropical storm. The waves were high, but there was no damage to the rear of the ship, some damage was to the side of the ship. The windy weather did keep us from using the large balcony as much as we would have liked, but it was a nice balcony and part of it is covered.

We would most likely do it again. We were in the same cabin on the Eastbound and there was some rocking, but it did not bother us. It seemed to be worse on both trips when we would be out and about in the halls.

Weather at that tiime of the year is a hit or miss. It can be calm also.

They will enjoy the aft cabin as the view is wonderful.

Thank you very much for your reply. We were in 7208 for the Panama Canal crossing and loved it. We have also been on aft facing cabins for the Baltic Cruise and Canary Island cruise and love those aft cabins. That is why when there was only 1 aft cabin left, we let them have it since it was their first cruise. I will let them know your experience. Hopefully we will be able to find one for ouselves before the cruise.:)
