We have just returned from a wonderful Asian adventure.

We started off with a 7 day cruise aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas sailing return from Shanghai to Kobe & Fukuoka Japan, and Busan & Jeju Island Korea.

Upon our return to Shanghai we spent 4 great days exploring this city before boarding the MV Victoria Prince for an 8 day, 2000km journey up the Yangtze River to Chongqing.

In Chongqing we travelled to Dazu to view the Buddhist Grottos, unfortunately due tot he devasting earthquake we were prevented from travelling to Chendue to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Centre.

WE went south to Guilin then north to Xi'an where one finds the Terracotta Warriors. Last but not least was Beijing and the Great Wall.

To read my reviews of this adventure which I divided into 2 parts :

Part 1 is the 7 day cruise aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas and Shanghai go to reviews under the Rhapsody of the Seas

Part 2 which is the Yangtze River cruise plus Chongqing, Guilin, Xi'an and Beijing go to reviews under the Victoria Prince.
