Place To "Check" Bags in Seattle for One Day After Cruise Until Flight

I have a 4PM flight out of Seattle after returning on the Golden (a Saturday)... I'm considering doing a "day tour" with Princess...but then I thought... I wonder if there's a convenient hotel at which I could "check" my bags (at a small price) and venture out to see Seattle on my own.

 

Any ideas?

There is a concierge service at the pier where you can check your bags. You can ask on the West Coast Departures board for details.

Hmmm...but then I'd have to get back to the pier before the trip to the airport. I'm hoping there's a hotel with a shuttle between the port and the hotel, where I can pay to keep my luggage...then I can walk around downtown, and walk back to the hotel before taking a cab to the airport.

 

Does this sound like it might make sense... I'm not all that familiar with Seattle and the port's location in relation to downtown.

I'm pretty sure that Princess works with the Westin Hotel for exactly your situation. We recently returned form 7 days on the Golden. We opted to stay a night at the Westin, but there were many Golden passengers on the bus from the dock. leaving their luggage with the Westin, then heading out to kill time before their flight. Princess had a suite set aside at the hotel with representatives to answer questions and issue meal vouchers.

 

I was impressed with Princess's level of organization!
