sbm2008 Posted July 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2008 HI all: I recently started posting some of the digital manipulation photography I do of cruise ports around the world. It's just a hobby but people seem to be really enjoying the images. If your interested in art of cruise ships and cruise ports maybe you will enjoy it as well. I try and post a new image every day, although some of the images I work on take me several days to complete. You can also download the images in high res format for your own use if you would like. It's free, its just my hobby site. It can be found at www.cruiseports.wordpress.com Hope you enjoy.

Ms411 Posted August 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2008 I used to teach that technique when I taught computer classes on Princess ships as part of Computers@Sea. It's called "color popping" and you do it with layers using a photo editing program (I used Photoshop Elements.) I haven't done it in a few years, so I can't do a step-by-step instruction, but if you can't find the instructions by googling, post to this forum, and maybe by then I will have found my class outline! It is really cool!
