Have you sailed on the new Splendor?

Hi there, we are doing a cruise on the 19th of April out of LA, but are trying to decide between two of them... one of them is the Splendor. What I am wondering is how people like it? The two reviews are not that great.

 

The other question I have is about the splash park. I read somewhere that it is not like the one on the Freedom, but I have searched and cannot find a picture anywhere! Does anyone have one? Or can you at least describe it for me please? I am traveling with a five year old and want to know if it is appropriate for her and/or if she would enjoy it.
