QM2 Internet Questions - need help!

We will be on the QM2 in a few weeks. I know there are those that say "forget the office while on a cruise and enjoy the cruise." However, I am one of those that can only get to go on the cruise in the first place and enjoy it in the second place by being able to stay in touch with the office. I have read some posts about the internet on the QM2 but am confused. What are the options? I have a laptop and usually take it if it helps. Is the service in the cabin only dialup or network? Do you have to install the QM2 software? Is Wi-Fi readily available around the ship? Are the computers onboard usually available or always in use? What are the costs for dial-up,

Wi-Fi, LAN in the cabin or use of the computers in the computer center? Does it make it easier to take the laptop? Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks
