Florence Posted October 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2004 We will be in Cozumel in 2 weeks on the Carnival Conquest. Does anyone know if any of the medical clinics or pharmacies would give us flu shots? If so, how would we know if they are safe? Thanks Florence

ColoradoLad Posted October 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2004 I'll be there on the 1st of November and will hopefully getting an answer via a few pharmacies. I am buying medications for a Free Clinic on Roatan. Some of the business emails in "Coz" take days, Roatan is worse. So, if I do not post until Nov 1st, it is when I will be there and can email that evening from ship. But, yes flu vaccine is available in Mexico. I suspect that contacts via Cancum would be better and that many of the islands have supplies and access to supplies but a "run" may cause some issues. Good idea, good post. Boatnik Posted December 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2004 Funny, I found your page while doing a Google search on "flu shot" [in] [Cozumel or "Costa Maya"]. I'll be heading that way on an 11-day cruise to Panama Canal. Wish someone had some information for us!
CozSally Posted December 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2004 I believe Solita canvassed the pharmacies here in Cozumel in November. The flu vaccine is not available. Sorry.
