Balcony Cabin, Verandah Deck On Destiny

I'm curious if anyone's been on the Verandah Deck on Carnival's Destiny, in a balcony?

I'd love to see any pics or hear any good or bad stories on this deck? Any noise issues with the Lido Deck above, a/c, etc?

Our cabin's located mid ship, room 8215.

This will be our 3rd cruise this year (only OV's) and 1st time on a balcony so we're ecstatic!

So if anyone has any pics of the balcony cabins, I'd love to see them.

Thanks for sharing!

Happy Cruisin'

Bon Voyage!!!

We were in Cabin 8161 which is a cat. 8c on the Verandah Deck. We were located on the starboard (or right side) of the ship near the elevators. Our room was in excellent condition. The shower was HUGE, and our air conditioning worked amazingly well! We could control the flow by adjusting a knob in the center of the vent in the ceiling. No problems with water pressure or having hot water! The balcony had two nice chairs and a small table. The t.v. was recessed into the wall at the foot of our beds, and we liked that feature. Underneath were additional shelves with doors. Here are photos of our cabin:

We were in cabin 8189, just down the hall from QueenB1's cabin. Ours was identical to theirs. Cabin was great. The bathroom was much larger than on Glory.

Looking at the deck plans it seems as though your cabin is located under the lido area, possibly under the tiered deck area. You may hear some noise in the morning but it shouldn't be too bad.

Enjoy. Destiny is a nice ship.
