GSC Umbrellas?

I'm confused..... I have seen more than 1 person post that there are no beach umbrellas on GSC (in fact, someone even suggested bringing their own covered beach chair). But in any pix I've seen of GSC the island seems to be overrun with blue umbrellas. Are these old pictures? Did the umbrellas all blow away?
