Dinner in Quebec City

My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary while on our cruise. While in Quebec City, we'll be there overnight, I would like to go to a french restaurant. does anyone have any recommendations?

DH and I will also be celebrating an anniversary (#25) on this trip. Le Saint-Amour seems a good choice. Can I safely assume that cabs are available at Quai 93 to whisk us off for a wonderful Quebec evening?

Not sure if right at the dock (Quai 93 is the Coast Guard station, so a bit more restrictive), but certainly you should find some a short walk up to the main road.

My partners family is from Quebec City and if you want authentic local quisine, goto Aux Anciens Canadiens which was mentioned above. The meat pie is the best. We made reservations by telephone for our cruise. They have the menu on there site and it was just on a travel show-which I forgot which one.
