My Time Dining - Indy - please share your experience

Hello :)

I wonder if you kind cruisers could help with a few questions about My Time Dining – on the Independence?

Shortly we will be going on our long-awaited cruise and today have had a letter from RCI explaining about the My Time Dining options. As a party of 7 we have deliberated and discussed the pros and cons and would like to hear from anyone with their personal experiences.

On a positive note we thought :

o the flexibility would be good (although reservations are requested)

o we have the late dining slot booked and may wish to eat earlier on some nights and could do this

On the negative side we felt :

o we may miss out on having a regular table in the same spot

o we may miss not having the same waiting staff. It is always nice to have a good rapport with staff as part of the experience

o The service may not be as good due to lack or rapport with the same staff

Some of the above points are pure speculation on our part and so any comments would be most welcome to help us choose between the two options.

I have tried to search for answers also, but the browser keeps crashing!

thanks in advance......

Lisa
