Should I keep my aft balcony cabin?

We are going on an 11 day Panama Canal cruise (not a transit cruise) and are currently booked in an aft balcony cabin. My sister would like to join us but our cabin only sleeps 2. In order to get a cabin to sleep 3 we would need to move to another balcony. Since we are not taking a transit cruise and will be taking the ferry to see and explore the locks; would I be giving up a lot if I change from the aft cabin to another balcony? Thank you in advance for any and all advice.

In MHO the ONLY way to really see the Panama Canal is to move around all over the ship while you are in the locks and going through the Canal. No way would I stay in my stateroom even if it was the Royal Whatever Suite! The view aft is different from the view on the bow, which is different from the promenade decks. The balcony may be great for other times, but Canal Day, be out and about and see it all.

Regards, Richard
