PLSK Posted August 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Hello everybody, just signed into this forum. My wife and I just booked our second Princess cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess and have seen that she is scheduled for drydock in January, seems to coincide with a three-week break in the CB January schedule. We are going Feb 1, 09. Does anybody have any info on what to expect post drydock? We have previously sailed aboard the Emerald Princess in Feb 08. You should recognize public areas that look very much like the Emerald - some of which are Vines, the International Cafe, Sanctuary and Crown Grill. These enhancements will all be made during drydock. I understand the casino is moving to another deck as well. We have been on 2 CB cruises and have 2 more booked - it's a lovely ship with a great crew! Happy cruising!:)
Sandytoes Posted August 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Welcome PLSK Glad you found this thread. "The" best on the web!!!! CB will be transformed to look like her sister ship The Crown. I booked my 8\5 cruise because Princess first scheduled the change back in May. Which didn't happen...:( You will enjoy everything that will be added. Piazza-style street cafe, International Cafe swerving specialty coffees, freshly baked goods, Paninis and tapas, gelato. Vines, Sanctuary.
