Calypso - Sevastopol

Well it seems that Russian only get to lease the naval base here from the Ukraine, and with the unrest elsewhere, this port is getting quite a bit of use for accessing the port of Poti in .......... is it still Georgia (the geography looks to be about to change yet again!!).

 

Is it likely that Thomson will decide to change the port of call in the light of all these manoeuvres?

 

OK so time will probably tell - I'm not off for another month yet .... but I'd hate the Sevastopol stop to be replaced by Constanza in Roumania, because many guests have complained about the lack of interest there ...

 

Any views or hypotheses welcomed .............. and please if you are travelling on the Calypso departing on 29 September, might you just add yourselves to a roll call on the 'other cruises' thread if you would lilke to meet up with me and my OH.
