pullman question

Recommended Posts

We are traveling in November on Freedom of the Seas with two children ages 6 and 8. We are booked in an inside cabin with pullmans and was wondering if there are bed rails to prevent from falling off bed? Should we put the lowers together just in case they fall so they can land on a soft bed instead of the hard floor:confused: The only problem with putting the lowers together is less room to move around in cabin. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

Sabrina:cool:

Here's a couple of pictures of the Pullman bed (taken in the second bedroom of the Royal family suite) so you can see how high the bed is, railing height etc. We made sure to leave the bathroom light on with the door closed so there would be a bit of light in the room in case he needed to go down the ladder in the middle of the night.

Great picture. I feel much more comfortable about the barriers etc. Boys are 10 and 8 and don't normally fall out of bed! This looks like it would have more room between the beds than the inside cabon, but maybe not.

To make more room in our inside stateroom we placed the coffee table inside the closet. Got this tip from someone else on the CC threads, and it really did open up the room. Packed the four life vests around the table in the closet. Still had room for shoes and to hang all of our garments in the closet.
